Hammer Nutrition is thriving with breakthrough new products in expanding markets. We are looking for a highly motivated, extremely effective problem solver to join our growing family in Whitefish, Montana. Successful candidate will have a college degree and minimum of 7 years directly relevant experience acting as GM or Operations Manager of small to midsize company. 10+ years relevant experience without college degree also acceptable. Experience in supplement or food industry preferred, but not required. Athletic background also a plus.

Job duties entail overseeing and coordinating all departments in company and report directly/work closely with CEO – managing multiple warehouses, supply chain, B2B and B2C channels, IT and web departments, regulatory compliance and more.

Location: Full time position in Whitefish, Montana. Candidates should be very familiar with climate and socioeconomic conditions in the Flathead Valley prior to applying.

Starting salary is $80K/year DOE with opportunity for pay advancement based on success. Extensive benefits package including 401K. Details provided during interview process.

Agreed upon relocation expenses paid 50% at the conclusion of year one and 50% at the conclusion of year two.

Hammer Nutrition in Whitefish, Montana is looking to add to their growing team. This dynamic full time position focuses on relationship building and management, working directly with enthusiastic amateur athletes of all ages and walks of life who have accepted sponsorship from Hammer Nutrition. This role involves customer service; marketing support, social media, and communication with over 400 individually sponsored athletes and several dozen teams across the country.

You will assist in educating these athletes to become highly effective in their own fueling practices by following our proven guidelines and equipping them to spread the word about Hammer Nutrition to those they come into contact with through their athletic endeavors. In addition, our athletes are a key source of testimonials, content and photos used for our own publications and marketing materials. You will be communicating with these athletes via phone, email and social media; collecting, organizing, repurposing, and disseminating their incoming content.

To succeed in this position, you must be a socially outgoing person who enjoys cultivating relationships; well organized with superb attention to detail and a strong affinity for and understanding of social media. You are expected to be eager in managing as well as utilizing incoming content into effective promotion of our products and company.

Job Description
Oversee and perform all duties related to successful supply chain management; from ordering of raw materials to packages going out to customers and everything in between, with an emphasis on efficiency and cost savings. This includes, but is not limited to all purchasing, forecasting and adjusting for seasonality and other variables, maintaining close and cooperative relationships with a few difficult vendors, managing inbound and outbound freight, and working to balance the costs of inventory on hand at three warehouse locations with the stock levels available for sale and more.

Tasks

  • Manage inventory costs versus stock on hand for 500+ items in three warehouse locations. Goal is to obtain 100% in stock without excessive overstock.
  • Use existing sale system to mine data / analyze information and forecast future inventory needs with multiple variables such as growth, seasonality, variable vendor lag times, etc.
  • Analyze purchase orders, receive purchase orders, track shipments, and update staff with expected delivery times.
  • Oversee monthly physical inventory counts and adjustments.
  • Update and maintain item information, costs and pricing.
  • Manage vendor relations through analytics and communication, maintaining a continual flow of email and phone communication with some very difficult and unresponsive vendors who need continual attention.
  • Oversee quality control.
  • Develop and implement purchasing instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.
  • Participate in development of specifications for products or services.
  • Understand project rollout obstacles in a nationwide retail environment.

    Must type efficiently and be very proficient with spreadsheet and database programs, windows, e-mail, etc.

Hammer Nutrition is looking for a responsible Executive Assistant to support our senior managers in a timely and professional manner. You will provide high-quality administrative and clerical assistance to top-level managers.

The Executive Assistant’s main duties include scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements and organizing daily calendars. To be successful in this role, you should be proactive, meet deadlines and communicate effectively. Our ideal candidate also has previous experience as an Executive Assistant and is familiar with office management technologies.

Ultimately, you should be able to identify and address the needs of senior managers and perform administrative tasks to ensure our company’s workflow runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily calendars of senior managers
  • Plan appointments and events
  • Act as the point of contact between executives and employees/clients
  • Create regular reports and update internal databases
